We are pleased to announce that the hall we designed in Zgierz has been awarded a BREEAM certificate at EXCELLENT level.
This has officially made the facility one of the greenest buildings in Poland.
The certification process introduced high standards in the areas of management, ecology, energy and water use, materials used and waste management.
At the design stage, solutions were adopted to reduce the costs associated with the operation of the facility by introducing modern systems and solutions, such as a central meter reading system, a leak detection system, LED lighting, devices to limit excessive water outflow.
The realisation was to increase the ecological values of the project site, which has been achieved. The design included solutions to improve the comfort of the building, ventilation that reduces the concentration and recirculation of pollutants, the possibility of natural ventilation of the office, ample access to daylight.
The investment promotes environmentally friendly modes of transport. A covered bicycle shelter with a bicycle repair station and facilities for cyclists has been created on the site, and signage has been produced for preferential places for employees travelling together to work.
At the design stage, after proper analysis, solutions were introduced to increase the facility's adaptability to climatic and functional changes, tailored to the needs of future users.
