Hall at the Technical University of Lodz

Yesterday, the grand opening of a modern steel structure design auditorium took place at the Łódź University of Technology under the patronage of Rex-Bud Budownictwo in the presence of representatives of the city and the university. Lodz University of Technology, Companies Rex-Bud Construction and other guests.

The teaching room has been completely renovated and equipped with a range of teaching aids, such as: a full-scale seven-metre portal frame, an exhibit with four basic types of connections between beams and columns of spatial frame systems used in steel structures, cold-formed purlins on I-beams, truss node models, etc.

Starting from the next academic year, students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the Łódź University of Technology will learn how to design steel structures in a new, functional classroom, and in practically every class, lecturers will be able to use exhibits showing real structural solutions when discussing the topics.

All in line with our slogan: „Rex-Bud. With us, you will understand more.”

The following individuals were also involved in the implementation of the project:

Design studio – Libido Architects, which designed the Auditorium, and the company Fibre System– responsible for repairing and reinforcing the floor.
