On 16 June, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the expansion of the RBT plant took place. Thanks to the investment, new jobs will be created for the residents of Zgierz and the surrounding area and the production capacity will be doubled, because instead of 12,000 tonnes of steel a year, RBT will be able to process as much as 24,000 tonnes! And the area of the plant will increase from 3500 m2to as much as 7000 m2.
The ceremony was attended by, among others, the Mayor of Zgierz, Przemysław Staniszewski, the Deputy Director for Acquisition and Investor Assistance of the ŁSEZ, Agnieszka Sobieszek, the Zgierz Starost Bogdan Jarota, the Zgierz Deputy Starost Dominik Gabrysiak, as well as business partners, uniformed services, employees and media representatives.
