This time, we are moving to the Silesia region, to Mysłowice, where we carried out a project to expand a warehouse park using the ’design and build" system.
The ”design and build’ formula, in other words, ’design and construct," is one of the most advantageous approaches to investment implementation, combining both design and construction within a single contract. Thanks to this solution, the investor receives a comprehensive service, and the construction process runs faster and more efficiently.
Our work included the demolition of the original hall, the construction of a new logistics and storage hall-storage hall with a social and office building, hardening of the property, construction of an underground retention tank with a capacity of 1,000 m3, and adaptation of the existing buildings to a fire load of over 4,000 MJ/m2. What is more, we also prepared the structure for the installation of overhead cranes. In addition, out of concern for environmental aspects, flower meadows with an area of over 500 m² were created on the investment site, which will ensure greater biodiversity in the vicinity of the investment. In summary, thanks to joint efforts, the owner of the property, CBRE Investment Management, gained as much as 24,000 sq m of modern usable space!
