We are pleased to announce that the Zgierz hall we designed has been awarded a BREEAM certificate at the EXCELLENT level. As a result, the facility has officially become one of the most environmentally friendly buildings in Poland.As part of the certification process, high standards were introduced in the areas of management, ecology, energy and water use, materials used and waste management. At the design stage, solutions were adopted to reduce the costs associated with the operation of the facility by introducing modern systems and solutions, such as a central meter reading system, a leak detection system, LED lighting, and devices to limit excessive water outflow. The implementation assumed an increase in the ecological value of the investment site, which was achieved. The project assumed the introduction of solutions that increase the comfort of the facility, ventilation that reduces the concentration and recirculation of pollutants, the possibility of natural ventilation of the office, wide access to daylight. The investment promotes ecological means of transport. A covered bicycle shelter with a bicycle repair station and facilities for cyclists was created on the site, and signage for preferential places for employees travelling together to work was made. At the design stage, after appropriate analysis, solutions were introduced to increase the adaptability of the facility to climate and functional changes, tailored to the needs of future users. The analyses carried out confirm that the facility was built to a high standard

Rex-Bud Budownictwo became the general contractor for the construction of a warehouse and production hall carried out in cooperation with Prologis. The facility, with a built-up area of over 11,000 sqm, was constructed in a mixed steel and reinforced concrete structure. The scope of our work also included the construction of an office and staff building, a fire pumping station with a water tank, car parks, hardened manoeuvring areas, a storage shed and internal installations and external networks. Photovoltaic panels were installed as one of the green energy sources. The building was being prepared for BREEAM certification at the VERY GOOD level.

Another construction project by Rex-Bud Budownictwo has started in Mysłowice. The envisaged total area of the warehouse facility and office building is approximately 23,000 sq m. The expansion is taking place on the site of another hall that originally existed in this location, demolition work of which is already underway. As part of the project, Rex-Bud Budownictwo will carry out the construction and reconstruction of the associated infrastructure, as well as the hardening of the property. The existing hall will also be adapted to a fire load of more than 4,000 MJ/m2. The facility is predisposed to BREEAM certification at EXCELLENT level. https://youtu.be/RDkAVq9hRHA

We have become the general contractor for another project of impressive size. The expansion of the Hillwood Polska hall this time takes place in Rawa Mazowiecka. The total development area will be 78,000 m2, and will include the hall building together with a gatehouse, parking complex and trafostation. In addition, approximately 35,000 m2 of paving will be constructed. The entire hall will be constructed using a steel and reinforced concrete structure. It will be equipped with 72 unloading docks and 4 „0” gates with driveways.

On 16 March this year. The editors and the Scientific Council of the Builder Polska monthly magazine awarded prizes to companies from the construction industry for their dynamic development and achieved position on the construction market, as well as special achievements in a given year, distinguishing the company from the industry and the competition. Rex-Bud Budownictwo was honoured with the prestigious title CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2022. The company was represented by Mr Adam Duszyński, President of the company, who also received the INDUSTRY PERSONALITY award. This title is awarded by the Editorial and Scientific Council of the monthly magazine „Builder” to the heads of companies for effective management, effective expansion of the company's potential and competitive advantage, as well as for entrepreneurship and business intuition and support for initiatives important for the development of the industry.

We are very pleased to announce the start of another hall construction project for which we are the general contractor. This time the construction takes place in Korzeńsko in Lower Silesia. The 53,000-square-metre warehouse facility will be built in the first phase of the investment, with a target total area of 150,000 square metres. The hall is being built in cooperation with investor Hillwood Polska.

We support young talents who have bound their lives to Łódź. On 30 November, we had the pleasure of participating in the Gala of the Employers' Scholarship Programme of the Young in Łódź programme. The Rex-Bud Construction Scholarship in the amount of PLN 7,200 was awarded to Julia Piątek - a third-year student of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the Architecture Department of the Technical University of Łódź. Congratulations to the recipient!
